Fox Barrel Cider
Fox Barrel is an American hard cider company co-founded in 2004 by Bruce Nissen and Sean Deorsey [1]. It was purchased by Minneapolis, MN based Crispin Cider Company in early 2010.
The beverages are made in the historic railroad town of Colfax, CA. The cider-making facility has a tasting room connected where people can sample the various Fox Barrel & Crispin Cider selections.
Varieties
- Fox Barrel Pear: All Natural Pear Cider (green label, 12 ounce bottle)
- Fox Barrel Black Currant: All Natural Traditional Apple Cider with a splash of Black Currant (purple label, 12 ounce bottle)
- Fox Barrel Mulled Cider: All Natural Cider with a blend of spices. It is recommended to serve warm.(Orange label, 22 ounce bottles
Cidery & Tasting Room
Fox Barrel & Crispin Cider are made in a Cidery in Colfax, CA located at 1213 South Auburn Street, directly off of 80, between Sacramento and Tahoe. Within the Cidery is a Tasting Room where people can stop in between 12-5pm daily and learn more about Cider making and taste the various ciders made there. They host individuals for tastings, but also groups and often give tours of the Cidery itself.
